Hey guys! I haven't been on in awhile, mostly because I'm tired of being porn bombed every-time I logged into the site. I know DA works to remove such things ASAP but its still a problem. Anyhow, I had the time to add many new submissions. If you have the time I would love comments/ feedback good and bad . Also if you want me to look at your stuff or give feedback just ask. Im SOOOOO bummed my art class is over because I loved how we all took turns critiquing one another.

w00t! I finally got my tablet! and my iMAc and wow....
I went with the intuos 5 medium tablet and this thing is straight BEAST! its huge! But right out the box i found it to be very comfy to work on. I have it set up on a mini easel that i typically have my sketchbook on.
Its just so damn pretty to look at! Today will be jam packed but hopefully this weekend I can look up some tutorials to learn how to make wonders on this thing!

I didnt put much time or effort into it... just used gimp for now and once i install the photoshop stuff ill give it another go.

GooooooodBye Fall Semester 2012!
Looking back on the semester,

-I really loved HTML/CSS class.. My teacher was a ton of fun , and also a w0w buff.

Nothing over the top amazing, but I really enjoyed it and will definitely continue to learn about website development. you just can't appreciate a website until you see all the coding that goes into it.  

-Geography was well... geographical..

- Psychology of Marriage and Family was a blast. Its funny how different every marriage is, but at the roots of it seems to be the same. The only downside of this class was there were a lot of young-ins (18/19). I feel ancient saying that but I can certainly vouch that my idea of marriage and family is more developed than it was at that age.

- Drawing 101- I spent my whole life wishing i could draw without ever really trying more than 10 minutes. I took an online class expecting to be given the textbook aspects of it. This teacher was nothing short of amazing! He started off by making a video and right off the bat said there's no right and wrong when it comes to art, there are just techniques that may help your art to look more realistic or convey an emotion a little bit deeper. My final portrait compared to what i drew on the first day shows crazy good improvement. I can not WAIT to take Drawing 2 in the Spring! The Flagler campus studio is beautiful. I am a tad self conscious to be in a studio with people that have been drawing for years and take these classes just for the easy A. but I'll get over that no doubt

I actually went and bought some sketching pencils. Ive been using the good ole' number two and some vine charcoal. In the tutorials I watch i see people mostly using the 4B and the 2h. I came across this video :

and am trying to make a real looking water droplet.... So far no good.. My husband says it looks like a dick.. and the kid says it looks like a snake.

In other news, my website project is 85% finished and I am QUITE impressed with myself and really enjoyed it once i began to see the logical flow of .css . Sure I had to rip my hair out a few times and bang my head on the wall some... but all in all good times n.n
